Claudia Menéndez
I’m a deeply curious multidisciplinary artist and designer from Guatemala who loves incorporating color into everything, from thread and beads to 3D animation and pixel art. I create, remix, and blend repeat patterns using various techniques like printmaking, embroidery, weaving, video editing, and graphic design.
The process is paramount to me—not just to expand my craft but also to appreciate the dedication and time each practice requires. This commitment led me to develop all the visual identities for my ventures and handle most aspects of my projects, including the design of this website.
Drawing inspiration from Guatemala’s rich artistic traditions, experiencing color, witnessing new combinations emerge, and feeling its ever-changing chromatic tones drive my ideas and creative process. My work incorporates repeat patterns, handmade fashion accessories, home accents, and a series called ‘In Weaving Color,’ which brings together all my diverse practices.

Drawing inspiration from my homeland’s creative traditions and its vibrant color palette, Nebula Handmade celebrates Latin American culture through fabulous hand-beaded bags and accessories. In partnership with Pura Útz in Santiago Atitlán, we ensure fair compensation and honor the dedication in every creation.
Additionally, we allocate 15% of our earnings to support the elderly community in need in Santiago Atitlán, spreading beauty and unity.
